Seven years ago, a conversation among friends sparked something extraordinary. Sarah and Damon Green initially approached Gerise with a simple but powerful question: would she be open to helping launch a Christian-based business? “It was truly a nudge from the Holy Spirit,” Gerise reflects. “We knew we wanted to create something rooted in faith and love for Christ.” While the vision began as a shared passion, Gerise now carries that mission forward as the sole owner and heart behind the business.
Today, Olive & Myrrh stands as a beacon of truth, beauty and goodness in Casper. A family-owned Christian-Catholic boutique, Olive & Myrrh off ers a carefully curated selection of books, gifts and sacramentals, all thoughtfully chosen to inspire and uplift. “We believe beauty elevates the soul toward God,” Gerise says. “Every item in our shop is meant to reflect divine beauty and encourage faith in the home, the Church and the community.”
What makes Olive & Myrrh truly unique is the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that greets every visitor. More than a boutique, it’s a space where individuals and families can deepen their spiritual journeys and celebrate life’s sacred moments. Many of the items are locally sourced, supporting artisans whose work reflects the spirit of Casper’s faithful community.
Success for Gerise is measured in hearts touched and faith strengthened. “If we’ve helped someone grow closer to Christ or made a sacred moment even more meaningful, that is true success,” she shares.
Looking to the future, Gerise dreams of expanding Olive & Myrrh to include a cozy gathering space where visitors can relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy fellowship. An outdoor area featuring beautiful statuary and devotional art is also part of her vision. Wherever the path leads, Olive & Myrrh remains firmly rooted in its mission to be a place of connection, inspiration and the steadfast sharing of God’s love.
