In the fall of 2022, Cece and Dana saw a gap in Casper’s pet care landscape and decided to fill it with something exceptional. Their own dogs had attended local boarding and daycare services. When the trusted manager (Kylee) left, the remaining options didn’t meet their high expectations. That’s when the idea for Urban Tails was born.
By August 2023, after months of planning, construction and vision, Urban Tails officially opened its doors. More than just a pet facility, Urban Tails is a carefully crafted experience rooted in their deep love for animals, pride in their Casper community and desire to offer top-tier service. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear this place is different. Colorful, inviting spaces like “Washington Bark,” “Wagging Hills,” “Hotel Catsylvania,” and “City Bark” bring a sense of playful hometown pride. Even the street signs reflect family members dear to their hearts.
What truly sets Urban Tails apart is its members-only day camp model that’s built around small, consistent packs for safe, healthy socialization. Customers especially appreciate their top-notch enrichment programs and retail selection. They also offer canine lodging with private rooms, while cats relax in multi-level “penthouses” with a view.
