In a world that’s constantly changing, there’s something to be said for tradition, craftsmanship and community. That’s exactly what Jason and Sean set out to preserve when they took ownership of Casper Tin Shop. Originally founded in 1978, the company has long been a trusted name in heating, cooling, and sheet metal fabrication across central Wyoming. Today, under Jason and Sean’s leadership, it remains rooted in history while embracing modern innovation.

The two friends met while working together in the HVAC industry and quickly realized they shared not only a strong work ethic, but also a vision for doing things the right way: operating with integrity, precision and pride. When the opportunity arose to purchase Casper Tin Shop, it felt like more than a business decision; it was a chance to carry forward a legacy.

“Our name may be old-fashioned, but our systems and service are cutting-edge,” Jason says with a smile. The team at Casper Tin Shop provides residential and commercial HVAC solutions, including installation, service and custom sheet metal work. They’re proud to support a wide range of clients from new construction to historical buildings needing expert attention. Every project is handled with care, because for Jason and Sean, quality isn’t just a goal: it’s a standard.

Jason and Sean may have started as a two-man team, but today, Casper Tin Shop runs on the dedication of more than 30 team members. “Our team drives the bus,” Jason says. “Their happiness, work ethic and belief in what we’re building; that’s everything.” From the field to behind the scenes, each person plays a vital role. Jason and Sean never forget who’s standing beside them and has chosen to grow with them.

Their motto, “Follow the Buffalo,” is more than a catchy phrase; it’s a guiding principle. To them, the buffalo represents resilience, strength and determination. It’s an animal that doesn’t run from the storm but faces it head-on, just like their team does in the field every day. “It’s about pushing through the hard stuff, doing the right thing and never backing down,” Sean explains. The buffalo is both a symbol of their Wyoming roots and the kind of dependable, steady work ethic they bring to every job. Their second motto they operate their business by is “Service You Can Afford to Love.”

For Jason and Sean, success isn’t about becoming the biggest. It’s about being the best at what they do by serving the community with honesty and grit.
